Timandra Harkness

Timandra Harkness is a writer and broadcaster, being a regular on BBC Radio 4, writing and presenting FutureProofing, How To Disagree, Steelmanning and Political School, and documentaries including Data, Data Everywhere, Divided Nation, and What Has Sat-Nav Done To Our Brains. She was also resident reporter on all 8 seasons of the social psychology series The Human Zoo. She’s the author of Big Data: does size matter? (Bloomsbury, 2016), and is currently writing her second book for Harper Collins. Timandra is a fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, and a founder member of their Data Ethics and Governance Section.
